Important Information about our field trip:

Our field trip to Boston is this coming Tuesday, June 6th! Please remember that all students should wear comfortable clothing and sneakers. Water bottles and lunches/lunch money should be kept in a backpack/pocket and carried throughout the day. Please check the weather forecast so as to prepare accordingly, for we will be outside all day. Students MUST STAY WITH THEIR CHAPERONES DURING THE ENTIRE VISIT TO BOSTON! Teachers and chaperones will be able to exchange cell phone numbers to help with quick and easy communication and the safety of all students.
We understand that students may want to take pictures and that some students may need to use a cell phone in order to do this. If a phone is going to be brought on the trip, it is the responsibility of the student to make sure it is being kept safe throughout the day. The device must also be used appropriately. This means that students are to only use the phone to take pictures in relation to the history that is being studied. Teachers or chaperones will let students know if there are other appropriate times to take photos. Texting will not be permitted. Posting on social media will not be permitted during school hours, which includes the bus ride home and while waiting for parent pick up. If these rules are broken, teachers will need to hold onto the device for the remainder of the trip.
The focus of this field trip is to engage in further study of the history of Massachusetts and the American Revolution. We are very fortunate to have this fun and worthwhile learning opportunity! We thank all of our chaperones and students in advance for helping to make this exciting experience be the best it can be!
Thank you!
